So there's a new anime craze in my household: and it's all about Zatch Bell. My brothers love it- until about two months ago I absolutely hated it, mostly because of Folgore and Kyanchome shrieking their heads off in every episode. Their voices irritated me no end (I quite like them now though ^^").

Anyhow, what happened is, I was eating my dinner one evening when Zatch Bell started and this girl in red with buns in her hair appeared. I randomly thought, "Hey, looks like Tenten has stumbled into the wrong show." I watched the episode just for the heck of it and I was practically BOWLED OVER when Wonrei appeared. Lilac eyes, martial arts...I stood up and yelled "Oh my God!" Yeah, because it looked like Neji had followed Tenten into the wrong show. I started watching EVERY episode in hope of seeing them, and when they did show up they didn't disappoint: they held hands, Wonrei pulled Lien out of harm's way, they gazed into each other's eyes, they blushed, they fought together...everything Kishi DOESN'T show Neji and Tenten doing. It was like a dream come true!

Then I read the manga and I jumped for joy. They actually married: and they looked SO cute. Totally destined to be together. And then the happiness came to an abrupt end. They WEREN'T destined to be together. Thank you, Zatch Bell author, for separating Wonrei and Lien for ever and ever. I thought you'd find a way to reunite them in the end, but NOOOOOOO. Of course, they'll still have their MEMORIES...thanks a lot. Wouldn't it be better to let them have each other?
I seriously feel like crying every time I think about it. Heck, I cried when I read the manga. My new OTP (or OTP #2) doesn't have a happy ending. I wonder if NejiTen will have a happy ending, or any kind of ending at all.

*wipes eyes* Damned PMT. In any case you can expect an avalanche of NejiTen AND WonLien fanart. Also, I was surprised to discover that some of the most prominent NejiTen shippers (I'm talking BC and Ginkyo here) are also WonLien shippers. Who knew Zatch Bell was popular? It's pretty new here in Italy. I thought I was the first to make the NejiTen-WonLien connection, but it looks like half the world got there before me. xDD
